Welcome to my personal page! I am a PhD student who has taken an interdisciplinary approach of integrating my skills in public health into climate science. I develop statistical models, apply machine learning algorithms, and integrate satellite-derived data to research the physical and meteorological drivers which affect microclimate phenomena, such as urban heat islands. By studying urban heat islands, I am able to examine the inequitable distribution of negative health effects caused by extreme heat.
